| 1861-1937 Nicknamed 'Evis', and along with Fred were the jokesters of the family. One of the founders of the Sebring Pottery Company in East Liverpool, Ohio. His brother Oliver and he started the French China Company in East Liverpool. He moved with his family to Sebring, Ohio in 1911. Bought the Oliver China Company from his brother George, and renamed it the E.H. Sebring China Company. It operated until the stock crash of 1929. It was bought in 1934 by Beatrice L. Miller, John Briggs and William Habenstreit, and was named the Royal China Company. His home was designed by Jacob Myers and was on Ohio Avenue. Member of the Sebring Methodist Episcopal church. Enjoyed citrus fruit farming in Sebring Florida. He died February 1, 1937 and buried in Grandview cemetery. He had seven children. |
