In the beginning (1949), Americana decorated pottery that was created by other companies.
Right around 1960, they began making pottery items. The original owners were E.B. Willis
and Dean Grindley. They also ran Americana Glass Company, which decorated glass items.
The business absorbed Queens China in the 1960's. Queens China made ware for Americana
